Provincial Rental Assistance Program The Provincial Rental Assistance Program is for low-income, working families with children under the age of 19 and a household income less than $20,000 per year. Housing assistance is paid directly to eligible households to assist these families in meeting monthly rent payments in the private market. This program is part of "Housing Matters BC", an innovative housing strategy providing an expanded range of housing options to British Columbians who need it most.
