NEW as of August, 2009 - Beach Access Brochure
Organizations or sports-related user groups requiring the use of a Municipal park must first make application through the Public Works Department of the Municipal Hall. Please contact the SCRD for recreational programs offered on the Sunshine Coast.
Proposed name for Park on Gale Avenue, South (between Beacon St. and Ripple Way)
The name "Carrol Brook Park" has been recommended by Council. As provided for in the District's Park Naming Policy, if residents have any questions, comments or alternative name suggestions, we would appreciate hearing from you at info@sechelt.ca by September 30, 2009.

Hackett Park
Location: Bordered by Medusa, Ocean, Dolphin & Trail Avenues.
Hackett Park, in the centre of Sechelt, is a great picnic area with a treed playground with equipment, ball diamonds and grassy playing field.

Sechelt Marsh
Location: Wharf Street/Porpoise Bay
The Sechelt Marsh was once a beaver pond and is now a year-round home for many waterfowl. Stroll the trails or feed the wildlife
they are always hungry. The Sechelt Marsh Society maintains the marsh. Nearby is the Porpoise Bay government dock where you can check out the fishing boats and pleasure craft moored there.
