District of Sechelt Road Exchange Bylaw No. 478, 2008 (Medusa Street)

TAKE NOTICE THAT under authority of Community Charter Section 40, District of Sechelt proposes to remove dedication and dispose of a portion of highway Medusa Street over parts of Lot F, Plan 18108 District Lot 1331 in exchange for land necessary for relocating portions of a highway on Medusa Street in DL 1331 by District of Sechelt Road Exchange Bylaw No. 478, 2008.

The road section to be closed is shown on the attached map.

Individuals wishing to view further information about the Bylaw and road closure are welcome to visit the District office during normal business hours, and/or to view information on the District of Sechelt website at www.sechelt.ca.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT before District Council considers Bylaw No. 478, 2008, individuals that feel they may be affected will have the opportunity to present information to oppose or support closing this road.  Council will hear submissions at its Regular Council meeting held Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. on December 17, 2008 in the Community Meeting Room at the Sechelt Library, located at 5797 Cowrie Street, Sechelt.

Written submissions regarding the Bylaw will also be considered and should be forwarded to the District of Sechelt by 4:00 p.m. on December 17, 2008:
