Trail Bay Pier and Day Float
The Trail Bay Pier is a present day version of the wharf that welcomed visitors to Sechelt as early as the 1900s. The pier has free 24 hour seasonal moorage on the attached float to welcome small boats, from the May long weekend to late September. Located in downtown Sechelt, this day float can easily be used for a quick stopover for dinner, diving and boat supply, groceries, fuel or shopping. If you wish to stay longer, mooring buoys are available. Year-round the views of Georgia Strait, Vancouver Island and Trail Bay are enjoyed, along with daily fishing and swimming. Interpretative signage display some of the local history. Adjacent to the pier a small ramp allows kayaks and small boats to access the waters of Trail Bay.
August 26/13 NOTICE: The Trail Bay Day Float suffered damage and is unavailable for use until further notice.
